Or maybe you’re trying to find just the right web designer to trust with redesigning your online home that’s been long overdue for some TLC?

Well I’m here to deliverrrr some beautiful Squarespace site transformations! (Scroll through on desktop to compare the before and afters best.)

I won’t keep ya waiting with a long intro. Here they are👇

Wild Sol Sisters

For a similar transformation: One-Day Website

Laura of Wild Sol Sisters came to me with a basic start to a website—likely from a standard Squarespace template—wanting it to be (in her words) “less boring” and accurately represent her wilderness retreat business. She had some color palette inspiration, a script font she liked, and a few boho website examples with a layered look, so I took that and ran with it!

By using the original script font sparingly as an accent only, it still adds to the boho vibe, but allows for an easier-to-read heading font so her visitors can have a more enjoyable experience while interacting with her brand.

The Spiritual Nurse

For a similar transformation: One-Day Website

Kiara’s a menstrual educator who wanted her site to feel regal and “like a boarding school, but a cool one you’d actually want to go to with your girlfriends.” By adding some vibrant colors to her palette, picking some new fonts, and sourcing royal stock images and patterns from Unsplash, we were able to achieve that in just a day!

Keona Maye

For a similar transformation: One-Day Website

Keona bought a Squarespace template and tried customizing it on her own by swapping out the colors and adding her own text, but her website still wasn’t giving that luxurious feeling she was after. By pivoting in a new color palette direction, switching out some of the typography, and removing a few extra elements the template came with, she ended up with a sleek, luxurious online home for her coaching and public speaking business.

Skin Invidia

For a similar transformation: Website in a Week

Mandie of Skin Invidia came to me wanting her Squarespace website redesigned for her skincare studio. She’d been using Vagaro (a business management platform and online marketplace for the wellness industry) and loved the management side of it, but was limited with how much she could customize on her built-in site on the Vagaro platform.

That’s when she started DIYing her Squarespace site, then reached out to me explaining that she’d somewhat set it up but didn’t love it, and struggled with making it look aligned with her brand. We refreshed her branding with earthy tones and modern typography, and used boho touches of triangles, moons, and overlapping elements to reflect the vibe you get when interacting Skin Invidia.

Adding a booking page with Vagaro integrated directly on their site allows for a seamless booking experience for clients, giving everyone the best of both worlds in terms of design and functionality.

SMG Beauty Co.

For a similar transformation: Website in a Week

Sarah had previously DIYed her website on Wix, but was embarrassed of how it looked and didn’t dare to share it with clients, let alone link it in her bio. She’d simply send them a PDF pricing guide upon request and use her Instagram as her portfolio.

After refreshing her branding to feel more boho and clean and creating a horizontal logo variation for the header of her site, I designed a beautiful site with custom doodles to perfectly fit sections throughout. We used a combination of her team’s branding photos and client photos to showcase her work and build trust with website visitors.

AM Life

For a similar transformation: One-Day Website

This husband-and-wife duo had published their DIYed life insurance Squarespace website, but Enochs reached out explaining that it was built using a generic template and he wasn’t convinced it was optimized for conversions.

I started by swapping in their brand colors and restructuring the home page by moving some extra copy over to the about page. From there, I was able to source stock photos that potential clients could see themselves in, break up the text with design elements that make it easier for their visitors to skim, and add clear calls-to-action to encourage visitors to reach out. And just like that, we were able to transform their life insurance website in one day!

Shannon Swallow

For a similar transformation: Brand Bloomer, Website in a Week

Shannon’s a spiritual teacher, intuitive guide, and business mentor who needed her branding and website completely redesigned. She had a Wordpress website designed by a different designer years ago, but it wasn’t built with any strategy behind it and used random elements throughout the site.

Shannon wanted her website visitors to feel welcomed and empowered through a sense of movement and minimalistic design. We achieved just that by nailing down her branding before even starting her Squarespace website, basing every detail in the design process on strategy. What do you think? Did we nail this redesign?

Bliss Vitality

For a similar transformation: One-Day Website

Cyndi of boutique wellness clinic Bliss Vitality had been trying to revamp her site for several months. Her goal was for it to give off luxury wellness vibes with a feminine touch, but she wasn’t a fan of her color palette and didn’t feel her site looked appealing.

After refreshing her branding, restructuring the copy and layout to optimize it for the user’s experience, introducing soft shapes throughout the design, and building out the other pages, Cyndi’s ideal clients can now feel seen when visiting Bliss Vitality’s website.

Debbi, a photographer and event details curator, wanted her website to capture the essence of an Italian summer. She came to me with a logo and a DIY Squarespace site she had started herself. By refreshing her palette with sun-soaked colors, introducing a complementary subheading font, and restructuring her pages for clarity, we transformed her site into a welcoming, optimized online home that reflects the charm of the Italian summer aesthetic and leaves her visitors with an unforgettable experience.

Luna Aesthetics and Wellness

For a similar transformation: Brand Bloomer, Website in a Week

Britni actually started with a DIYed site using GoDaddy’s website builder before deciding to completely rebrand (name and all). After seeing local skincare studio Skin Invidia’s website I had designed, she knew she had to reach out to have her medspa rebrand and website redesign done right in this new chapter.

We began with my signature branding package, Brand Bloomer, to give her brand solid roots to grow from and leaned into the timeless beauty she helps her clients achieve. Thanks to the sleek, strategy-led branding we created, we were able to position her to show up as a luxury service provider on her website. Within just 4 months of her rebrand launch, she was nominated as the best cosmetic center in the Tri-State!

For more on this custom rebrand and Squarespace website redesign project, you can check out the Luna Aesthetics & Wellness Case Study in my portfolio.

So, there ya have it!

My top ten—if I do say so myself—beautiful Squarespace website redesign before and afters.

Each project above solves a unique challenge for that brand and helps them step into a new level of their business, and that’s the true beauty of redesigning websites.

If you need some help with getting your own website to match the quality of the services you provide to leave a lasting impression with your visitors, reach out and let’s chat about how I can help.

And just for good measure, here are a few questions you might have when considering your Squarespace website redesign.

If ya don’t see your question answered, shoot me DM on Insta and I’m happy to answer!

  • While there’s no set number of years you should aim for when considering a website redesign, it becomes clear that you need to get your website redesigned when your current site no longer reflects how you want your brand to be seen.

Some other reasons for having your website redesigned may be due to repositioning your brand, updating your services, or changing your target audience.

And if you really need a set number of years as a guide, I’d recommend having your website redesigned at least every 5-7 years.

  • If you’re asking how much Squarespace websites cost in terms of Squarespace’s pricing structure, plans range from $16/month to $199/month depending on your needs, with up to 36% in savings when you pay annually. You can find out more about Squarespace’s pricing plans for websites and features included with each plan here.

If you’re asking how much Squarespace websites cost in terms of custom website design services from a professional web designer, you can expect to pay anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000+ for a Squarespace website design or redesign. My signature Squarespace website design package, Website in a Week, is currently priced at $3,950 and covers the main pages and features a website should have.

  • Yes! As a website designer, I only design on Squarespace and recommend it to everyone because the website builder platform provides the perfect balance of customizability and user friendliness, both when designing and visiting the published website.

This ensures that my clients will be able to make updates to their site on their own after their project, especially with the help of the custom Squarespace video tutorial I include in each website design project.
